This CBS documentary series used audio transcriptions and "hot" microphones to present the news of the previous week.  This Peabody Award winning series, produced by Edward R. Murrow and Fred W. Friendly, covered history between World War II and Korea and eventually found its way to television as See It Now.  Each show is 60 mins.
